The Youth Mentoring and Leadership Academy
The Youth Mentoring and Leadership Academy is an annual program offered to our Youth Leadership Council Kids. This year the trip will be at the Great Wolf Lodge in Anaheim.

This training will redefine leadership and peer-to-peer mentoring for many of its participants. PAL/SAL youth will be instructed on the skills necessary to make them better mentors and leaders at their PAL/SAL, community, school, church, and families. In addition, they will learn that being a leader and a youth mentor can win the cooperation of their peer groups and motivate others to be more effective and positive in their lives.

Students must apply and be selected to become part of the Youth Leadership Council.

Rancho Cordova PAL provides a Youth Leadership Council program to help Rancho Cordova middle and high school students build skills to become better leaders and be the change they want to see in the community. The Youth Leadership Council supports Rancho Cordova PAL by selecting and implementing exciting programs for youth in the Rancho Cordova community. Students work alongside Rancho Cordova PAL at events, learn to organize their own community events, identify community issues and help address them, and act as advisers to other community partners.
